LHCOS is pleased to welcome Colleen to the team!

I’m Colleen! I’m from Philly, PA. This journey began for me about a year and a half ago when my son brought two hermit crabs home from a shore shop. Unfortunately, because of my lack of knowledge they did not survive. I was shocked when he came home with three more from a pet store! I went into a panic because I did not want more let alone them dying on my watch and clearly I didn’t know enough. I luckily stumbled upon LHCOS in my search for the proper care information. Flash forward to today, those three are thriving! I also joined the Adoption Program and have adopted nine more through that program. I was super excited to eventually became a mentor, as well. I now have four tanks and twelve hermit crabs. I am honored to continue this journey as a Local Representative and continue advocating, educating and constantly learning with LHCOS for all of the hermits!
