Meet Rita…
Hey everyone, I’m Rita. Honored to be a member of this amazing group of hermit crab enthusiasts.
I live in south Jersey with my very significant other. We’re just miles away from the boardwalk where so many of these little guys are sold. And yes, it’s so hard not to just go “rescue” them all…but that’s sadly not how it works.
I started off as so many of us did just enamored with having hermit crabs and subsequently doing everything wrong. Fortunately I found LHCOS…they saved my crabbies.
Several months ago I became a moderator for their fb page helping people keep their little friends happy and healthy.
I always say “trust the process” when talking to new crabbie owners. Recommendations we make don’t always make sense but they are based on decades of research and experience. We want your little friends to live a long healthy life with you…may the crab be with you.
