Our Volunteer Approach
To ensure a good experience for both volunteers and the programs they support, LHCOS uses a structured volunteer intake process.
What this means:
- Volunteers apply for specific types of work, not vague roles
- All volunteers start with a short trial period
- Expectations are clear from the beginning
- It’s always okay to step away if something isn’t a good fit
This approach helps us protect our programs, our community, and our volunteers’ time.
