The LHCOS Adoption program is getting an update! Adoption Coordinator Alison Brant is reworking our application forms and streamlining the adoption process. We hope these changes will improve response time and keep our maps current. Cat Barron has agreed to join the Adoption team to assist with processing applications. The application form to become an approved adopter is updated and live on the Hermit Crab Adoption page. Existing approved adopters should have received an email from adoptions @ lhcos.org requesting a status update via the update form. It has been brought to our attention that a sudden influx of new businesses are attempting to subvert the LHCOS Approved Seller process. In some cases, these new businesses are closely copying Approved Seller’s products and selling them as their own, while claiming that anyone can do research and make safe products.
